common. Larus delawarensis, One or two. Several small flocks of scoters going south. Two or three going north. Two flocks of small gulls going south. San Francisco, cal. to Alameda, Cal. 9:45 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. Conditions:- Clear overhead; cloudy around horizon; north wind; moderate temperature. Larus californicus was common. OCT 31 1904 NOV -1 1904 NOV -2 1904 During any trips of trips to and from San Francisco, Larus californicus, was abundant; grebes quite common along the mole; and scoters fairly common on the Bay. I saw two Larus delawarensis this afternoon; I saw a gull bathing itself while resting on the water. NOV -3 1904 San Francisco Bay adjacent to Alameda, Cal.
