66. W. Bluebirds - seen on wire along the way,
especially south of Gilroy on the way
home (Mar. 26)
67. Merlin Gnatcatcher - one on sage covered
hill on the edge of river valley - Mrs. Saunders
said she saw one there in January -
68. Puly-crowned Kinglet - ab - singing
69. Pipits - near Carmel River
70. Warblings - more abundant in the
San Francisco's Bay Region.
71. Shrikes - in Santa Clara Valley -
72. Lutescent Warbler - Carmel.
73. Audubon Warbler - many came to the
Blain's feeding table - some in
winter plumage - some coming
into breeding plumage -
74. Townsend Warbler - Several at stop in
Nectar Pass; several at Marie Blvd, St.
75. Ridings - very ab. in Carmel River Tules
at dusk -
