Table - also mine at one time.
60. Pygmy Nuthatch - Carmel. One came out
hole in high pine tree at Casa Nova lot
belonging to the Blankes. At Table -
61. Wren-tit - A pair came to feeding table for
raisins and meat.
62. Vagrants Wren - a pair came to feeding
table, always creeping up through
the twigs under the table and peeping over
the edge. They were building a nest in
a two-compartment box put up by Mr. B.
63. Thrasher. A pair came frequently to the feeding
table. They also fed on the ground in the street
while we stood about 15 feet away. They
did not fly when an automobile passed
within four feet of them. Very tame.
64. Hermit Thrush. Once seen on Mar. 24. Mrs.
B. thought the one that had been coming
regularly had moved northward but another
