25. Turkey Buzzard - (Hecter Pass).
26. Sparrow Hawk - Santa Clara Valley.
27. Coots - Mt. Eden, Monterey, Carmel.
28. Oyster Catcher - lives at the Marine Biological Station near Monterey - in plain view on rocks just off shore, resting and foraging. The first time I have seen them well (also in full plumage) Moss Landing
29. Black-tailed Gull - (one in full plumage) Moss Landing
30. Killdeer, Mt. Eden, Moss Landing.
31. Song Birds 4 - at Marine Biological Station.
32. Black Turnstones - at. Carmel & Monterey.
33 (Wilson Snipe ?, Carmel River) - two flew, alighted and straightpeared in characteristic fashion.
34. Long-tailed Curlew - one only at Moss Landing
35. Hudsonian Curlew - 20t.
36. Willets - ab. on Sand Spit with Godwits. They make a pretty picture as the two species rose and circled the lagoon.
37. Lesser Yellowlegs - one at Moss Landing, very near and decidedly smaller than Willet.
38. Sandpipers Laps. ?) 30-40 wheeling - at Moss Landing
39. Godwits - ab. overflying & flying with Willets
40. Sanderling - ab. at Carmel.
41. Glaucous-winged Gull
42. Western Gull.
43. Band-Tailed Pigeons - Blank's Home, Carmel.
