Nov. 21. Beautiful weather. I heard a House

Nov. 22. East wind in Canyon. Tuesday groups
went to Alameda and Saumates Bridge.
No wind - Very pleasant, clear day.
First Stop, Alameda side of Estuary -
W & rared Gullies Bon Gulls, Red-backed and
Least Sandpipers, White-crowned Sparrows (Bugs)
Second Stop. Bay Farm Island - Shore of Estuary.
Clapper Rails - perhaps 15 at high tide.
Coots -
St. Blue) from
Trees (Western, Eared, Pied bill)
Bonaparte Gulls - Bluebills, Ruddy, Canvas,
Pipits, Bryant Sparrows. 1 Vigo's Bream (in
a pile of rubbish on the shore)
Marsh Hawk, Fugacious Roughly (soaring
high, long broad wings with white window
on upper surface), Sparrow Hawk.
Meadow Lark, Brewer Blackbird,
One diving duck with a fish in its bill looked
like a merganser. A broad headed bird
crouched on the edges seemed like a Short-
Lared Owl.
Third Stop. Alameda Oakland Airport - Bayshore
Sanderling, Red-backed Sandpipers.
Fourth Stop. Airport, Shore of Estuary:
Female Wry-Scotias.
