Leric Salt Sigs (red) Very few birds. 3 Long-tailed Curlew, 8 Hudsonian, 10 Willets, 12 Black-bellied Clover (full plumage). Aug. 15 Boulder Creek. Oiledated Warbler Seen. Young Brown Towhee full grown but tail short. Aug. 16. The note I have been supporting was that of a Cygnus [illegible] is given by a Clip Mute! In the evening we saw Two Boor Wills on the Sand Will road on the Ben Lomond side of the mountain. Aug. 17. Mountain View Marsh: Tide just going out at noon. Birds in increasing abundance. Hudsonian Curlews 45?, Long-tailed Curlew, 8? Sandpipers (distant, sp.? ) 100+, Willets 50+?, Bl. Clover 50+? <. Semi-palinated Clover ? San Mateo Bridge. Tide ½ out. Western and Least Sandpipers scattered on mud in both directions as far as I could see: 1000+. New shore on mud both Semi- palinated and Snowy Plovers (a few of each). Alpes Willets - Bl. Clover.
