June. 1921 Berkeley. June 19. Warm. June 20. Warm. June 21. Sick all day - Gas. Hot all day and all night. E. tired at night. June 22. Head-ache - W. tired again. July at Mren-lits' nest. June 23. Cooper Club - Fog. June 24. Thrashers fighting off gulls - Young bird (thrasher?) squealed twice - Fog. Lutescent warbler gathered small moths on bare walk within six feet of where game was playing Orange room visible. June 25. Foggy morning - Edith came back from Yosemite. June 26. Cool. Partly foggy. June 27. Stayed in bed most of day - Miss Fritts came to sew. June 28. Cool. June 29. Cool. Have heard swallows- frequently since I came home. Tonight as I lay on the porch I saw at 7:30 p.m. a flock of 30-40 which flew in close formation up the bay. July 1. Had my eyes tested. Examined by Dr. MacLean. Hot.
