Apr.3.(Cont'n) Next to cemetery p.m. In Country
Club grounds were Quail, Junco's, Varies
/Robins and Robins. In Cemetery both Nuttall
and Intermediate Sparrows were singing.
Apr.6. Pair of Quail on Table. Cloudy-
Apr.7. Conducts Field Trip of Calif. Nature Club
on Campus. With so many new buildings
going up (Education, Mechanics, Physics and Stadium)
there is little binding Territory left. Walked
through Faculty Blade where Tornaxd Warblers
were singing - perhaps 15-20 in a flock.
Heard one Western Flycatcher. [Ruby-crowned
Kinglet was singing continuously - Earlier
as I passed by I heard the Pileated Warbler.
In the Botanical gardens were Golden-
crowned Sparrows, Intermediate and
Nuttall Sparrows beside Allium Drummingbird,
1 S.F. Torhee, Br. Torhees and Song Sparrows.
In the Ellis Orchard were Blue Jays, Robins,
Swinets and 1 Junco - Partly Cloudy - Warm.
Apr.8. Small flock of quail passed through,
came to table. Beautiful day-
At Heard Warbling Vireo toward dawn.
Apr.9. Whistle of quail on guard. A pair
of Thrasher came to Table - Adolescent
Warbler sings constantly east of house Rain.
