At bath - Varied Thrushes, 1 Purple Finch,
3 Ruby - er. Kinglets.
Feb. 20. Cooler. Dicker came for water.
Feb. 22. Flock of Cedar Waxwings at Ban-
croft & Warring. Robins abundant - both
feeding on the loyán berries there -
Golden-er. Kinglets heard near house -
Foggy - Sun set North of Golden Gate -
Feb. 23. Foggy. 9:30 a.m. A flock of 8-10
Crossbills flew over, calling "Knip-
Knip, Knip, Knip."
Feb. 25. James saw flock of about 75
Cedar Waxwings at Bancroft & Warring -
Eating loyán berries.
Feb. 26. Warm - about 70°. Birthday
luncheon for Mrs. Whitney. Birds all
came to table, even quail. Varied Thrush,
at R-c. Knight at fountain. Townsend
