Sept. 20 (contin.) Went to Baumberg with Mrs.
Saunders, Kelly & Luidmann. Saw many
pintails, 25 aracets, 80-40 yellow legs,
1 stilt, a few sandpipers, 1 blue heron,
40-50 dowitcher, Bonaparte Gulls.
1000 violet-green swallows, a few barn
swallows, buntings, blackbirds, Baryt
Marsh Sparrow, Song Sparrow, Eng. Sp.
and 1 Sparrow Hawk.
Sept. 24. Mrs. Schlesinger sent me young
laniages to stuff.
Sept. 28. Began series of six bird trips.
Faculty Blade - President's lawn
Tormen W. Creeper many robins .
Sept. 29. Many Intermediate Sparrows.
Sept. 30. A Fox Sparrow came to the pool
at 10:15 a.m. Walks up Canyon 2-4 p.m.
Many Fox Sparrows, 1 Ruby-crowned
Knight, 1 Golden-crowned Sparrow.
Oct. 1. Rain with lightning & thunder at night,
first of season.
Oct. 2. Rain.
Oct. 3. Rain a.m. Cleared p.m.
