singing away at a lively rate when observed - at mid-day - A mourning dove was seen in flight between Grizzly and Big C. - Lovizon, 22 species. Monday - July 6-14 7-8 A.M. This trip over the same route as followed on a number of previous trips was largely a review of bird songs previously heard. The weather was cool and foggy and the birds were not as much in evidence as usual. Among birds heard or seen or both, were the warbling vireo, wood-pewee, Santa Cruz song sparrow, western flycatcher, bush-tits, tulecent warbler, brown towhees, spurred towhee, russet-backed thrush.
