Lehner, P. 1984 50 Aug. 31 - made routine runs in A.M.; to Johnston in P.M. - Cam made bird census while I collected plants - we have probably close to ~5 species on Johnston; found three Wedgetail burrows across from JTC B&G. Headquarters - one had a chick; Pat Meehan, Jim Sublett, and Bill Sinclair (all employees of Holmes and Narver) came over on the 4:30 Mike boat to see the birds at the other end; we got them chow and then showed them the birds until 7:00 when they caught the next Mike boat back - ran the Sand Island survey.
