Lehner, P. 1984 36 Aug. 15 - didn't arise until 9:30 A.M., had brunch; Cam did his laundry and then went to the reef with J.L., Sally, Bo and Briggs to go skin diving; I went to Johnston ("the other side") to PX where I picked up infinitesimal number of items for everyone else and forgot half the items I had intended to buy for myself; returned to Sand and spun blood samples until supper time; Cam went to "other end" to check Wedgetails and Noddies while I did my laundry; after supper we conned Pond into helping us catch Wedgetails in their burrows; we banded and painted until about 12:30 A.M. when we returned to the barracks with red hands - a combination of red paint and blood.
