20 April 81 Tucson Ariz. Falcon like, Cry." Cru," wing Tone and sounding at a distance like that of a Peacock. Have heard astir! today. 5932 245 Amphilampus flaviceps 43X6.9 ♀ Caught on wrist. 9th. one egg broke 5933 246 Harpophylycus var. palmar? 12.2x3.0 ♂ Somehow this bird does not look to me like var. palmar, the colors are too much faded and blended in appearance. As I have no specimen convenient for comparison I only speak from memory of their appearance. Was not as shy as I have usually found var palmar. Bill black. Legs brown. 5934 247 Centurus amphygialis 10.1x16.7 ♂ 5935 248 Amphilampus flaviceps 4.4x6.8 ♀ 5936 249 Solifitila caerula 4.8x6.0 This seems to be the only Colibri here now
