In his way up the rocks and he met
him around just at steps. He did so but
the animal ran down a cliffs about
300 yds away to meet it. It stopped
in a cave under a rock & then I find
three nets at the animal would not
come out. Two of the beaters after an
hour's work managed to get within
a few feet of the cave but to a shower
of rocks & yellows would not make the goat
move.
Suddenly when all was quiet it dashed
out almost on the face of a beater. He
yelled shouted swaved his arms so
violently that the animal turned back
town and the runner it ran like
an antelope among seeming unpassable
rocks and was so far from rest that it
shooting was only a waste of ammunition.
Harry now it got into another cave
in the cliff near the bottom of the valley,
and he went down after it. I would not
have taken that trip down the rocks for all
the goats in the net, but he was there
to get it.
It stuck tight in its little mouth a
beater was almost next to after it.
