all in flocks, many lapwings, I see
suddenly with nests of pretty sparrow
fly about recklessly just above
our heads giving them pleasure as
I am so anxious to get the game I
chant that a hard fight to get back
with the bird for the current me-
lies a mile race. We camped

June 13
Birth days were beautiful with a m.
of racing in the P.M. We rode alone
by the river shooting as we went.
I got six geese - 2 swans & 4 gray
games with a white neck & black bands
that which I do not know. The
days were unsuccessful.
Sat.
June 14
Gusto & I rode ahead of the carts
and arrived at Vega at noon. We
went to Anderson Drayes place &
paid up with an Ojibway woman
trump all tired very glad of a built
a rest.

June 15
Have been busy all day repacking &
getting ready for an early start tomorrow.
Coughed with throat. Stealing sugar and
poured her in - got Mdy Farriers wings -
a young fable. Went north farrier &
saw the minister & his children he is 27.
He lives for the farmer on a young
on the hillside overlooking the city.
