mmyrl gathred us when leavng the card & fellow. we went inside & found a lamp, a tall mmyrl & a woman & baby sittng around an agre fire. it was warm & dry and they made us welcome so we curled up on a tiny but firme hide & await the cars. They came in an hour & we unbrded just outside the yard. it was bitterly cold & raining hard but we put up the servants tent & got our beds inside. The boys even & slept in the yard & had a comfortable place after their hard work. So corbed dinner inside and we all ate together. The guest was large with a an immense in the middle two tiny bits about 6 miles off the ground at the side, and several chests at the back. On one was ranged the family gots & a Buddhist painting. it was a strange setting for our dinner, with the mmyrls gathered around us, but by this time we had become so accustomed to being in strange places that in half an hour it had lost its novelty, we went back at once to drink while it was still half light &
