Chevrons 13 chevrons present - 1st is very
small & fine distally - w/ spurs -
2nd is very high & has a spur 89
long + 17 wide distally. - 3rd is highest
of the series - its spur is 43 long &
22 wide distally. The 3rd is only a little
higher in the series than No 2 as it
stands, its position. The spur of
the 4th is 39 long + 27 wide - like
other whales, that chevrons decrease
in height & increase in distal
breadth as they go backward
