Tuesday December 23-1913
On Sunday the Sun started back to us.
We will be very glad to see it although we are
in no ways suffering from the darkness.
On Monday morning the visitors left in a
crowd. The natives like travelling together and now
ally move that way.
As julingwash is building his homstik for
the long trip. Ootah he decides to go with us.
He feels that he will be a good man on the Pole
as he was at the Pole with Peary and he
had a good deal of experiences there.

Thursday Dec 25-1913
everyone took a bath Christmas Eve!
+T + land new Storm bound down The
coast but arrived two days late at just the
moment if put Christmas dinner on the
table.
It has been blowing mostly milder in
during; a real Christmas. Of course we
were all happy with plenty of Christmas
certs and President Boston's Christmas dinner -
his present to the expedition.
I took a long walk to work up an
appetite. The northern lights played over my
head + I was very happy.
