June 6, 1915 C. Indefender, Cloudy with N mist. About 2:00 am. Et + his two men appeared around C. Indefenders. We fired a gun + they turned in towards our camp. They were all in good shape + their sledges loaded with skins + meat at least. Spent the day time. Filled the cup which escaped. June 7-16, 1915 C. Indefender & Stah. Weather warming up rain. Came home at such a pace that I had no time to write anything or enjoy anything. From Ames- croft to Etah we had the pleasure of rain. In Russell's Bay we visited Kane's headquarters + photographed the island where his operations took. We were first to come over the land behind Gunnarvik on account of water at Cinnatary but the ice to Etah was still far beyond the islands, I was not glad to be back. June Thursday 17, 1915 High NE wind. Cloudy + warm. Et is working on the maps, work on his pictures, & he cleaning up. Tanks on skins & bones, I am thinking my thoughts.
