Etah. Monday June 21-1915 Clear for first time in weeks - +42° We have been having cloudy warm weather with occasional snow or rain until we are sick of it. The whole fjord is dark where bottom is flat winter's ice, gradually the water (which is from the rain) is draining off leaving small islands free. The day is ready for a trip but the south wind has brought ice up and since still we can see no open water to the W or WSW. At C. Alexandra + north I saw ice about two bare boats in transit to open water near. We are looking eagerly for signs of a break-up. We want to get back from not only for our boats + kayaks but for the summer lord of it - Wednesday June 22, 1915 Rotten weather again. + temperature Jerome aboard at 200 A.M. from Osami by way of its glacier (from Nuki). I moved out into my tent which I pitched near its river... of course the weather changed and now I am far from comfortable there. -Tumney just offered the Pates is very friendly + gave me help in taking morning pictures of the birds x
