172 Sunday, October 25-1914 We were awakened this morning by a— Comodineuch who had come out to some of his dig one at chook on the bend. Farmer turned out and built the fire which was soon followed by the delicious odor of coffee... I crawled out into a glorious, clear day (the rather acceptable since there was almost no wind). About eleven o'clock we put on our clothes and started in for the house. Jerome rode with the homoth and I enjoyed the walk. Nearly everyone was away walking which was the practice last winter. I cleaned up as usual and dressed up to enjoy the photograph and a good dinner. We had rabbit stuffed and roasted. My bit tasted good! JOT has made two fine homoths, they are a cross between the Perry and the Equino type. I believe that he is going to make one for me and one for Eth later on. Joe has rigged up an igloo (Buddle's) and sleeps out there. He gave Jerome and our two dames and a piece of centre meat which we brought out with us. We were loaded down as usual. I had a number of new books and the meat; Jerome brought a cake and some The Stamp. He was sick tonight after having eaten such a big dinner.
