FOREVER 179 Monday October 26 - 1947 The wind is at it again - Tomorrow's day, so named, was filled with grief x He just both bites up and goes immediately just then down x On night the wreck of The Radio 5: + 6: are lying behind our shed x One is not as badly smashed but that it can be repaired But works in this weather is cruel x Jerome can stand more torture than I. He shakes and his with fuzzy fingers until suddenly his spirit can stand no more. I clear the way when I hear his moaning and stumbling in the shed x The door is flung open and he comes before the little stove x It's something seen in the dim light as This he clasped the red hot bit of copper to his breast! And I, so is much with the wicked, supper not at all x again breakfast I visited the next island and explored it carefully - not for anything in particular, just explored it as a boy does his father's top drawers when the old Span is away for his health x I saw so many beautiful examples. I fragment + other things for Jerome work that I have decided to collect a sample of each different kind - primarily the useful ones feel when the pack of hungry dogs arrive with our next visit. Nothing new. It is cold, time is flying; we are very happy, all except Jerome who still has a belly ache left from some Sunday dinner - "E VRAFTER ESELAUREI SEISE TROPSAROS"
