Cape Thomas th trail. He & I got our tent-tent over a drift by some pressure ice & he made a small igloo. This igloo awared up rapidly & we could not keep an air hole open as a result the storm would not blow & one-er was a failure. We tried to go out but the wind & snow made it unfeasible. Finally we were in danger I being over-thrust we cut a hole in the snow & P went out telling me to stay inside. He built another small igloo on top of the first one which was snowed up. He said my dog came out, but did not tell me he'd dug his own. When we finally got out in a lull in the storm I found my team had been buried under about 15 ft of snow. We dug in vain Finally we got to the hummock top just ahead of the upland side of my sledge & rescued my hold & films. Later we had more trouble with the storm: The storm came on again. P. & I were both made sick by it, finally in the ill ventilated igloo. P told me Mrs's storm were as good & the all of Rosser's things were better than ours. He said also that he didn't believe she would get everything promised him for his work.
