Seeing Hydromnium and Rhytidium - a Fissidens or Mnium orthohyponium today. Got several things in quantity, for ovicatic, e.g. Trichostomum cuspidatissimum, Didymodon mufus (?), Andreaeomnium acuminatum, Bryum Wrightii & B. sp. common on draining basins & runways. Also got much Hyphoder, Sphacelum vesiculosum and a small unknown Sphacelum collected previously at Driftwood & elsewhere - perhaps only a reduced form of S. vesiculosum, but needs study. In briefly for lunch, then back to dry hill meadows, which are not very productive. In soon after 6:00, with 3 large pletri bags full - after 2 in the
