July 26. Great bulk of specimens now dry - will decre a few on the dryer if necessary, for a day or so. Phil Johnson will pull the plugs. Letters from Pierre Danceureau & Grace Dietz - stationary came yesterday but no messages. Wrote Alaska Airlines for reconfirming our flight Aug. 8. Went carbon to Northwest Airlines - also asked Northwest to make hotel reservation in Anchorage. Ted Humphrey came to lab at 12:00 to say that our flight was developing. To home for lunch & to park. Wrote note to May Brewer about need to return to Barrow from Banks Island in time
