fridly leaving us and climbing mountain. Got a series with telephoto - at least if exposure is ok. ARE plane came in while we were on mountainside, with John Schneider, as we found out later on return. Spent quite a lot of time photographing plants and in looking for - and finding - the curious turgid moss (Mugur oclada ?) found as a few strands Saturday night. Found a reasonably pure colony & collected enough for specimen. Max Brewer arrived in evening - he and John assigned to beds in our community room, but didn't come in until 4:00 am.
