July 23. Everyone up early because barge had arrived To pick up cargo for Barrow and to deliver gasoline for this camp. On Brevikie landing, Dorothy and I were finally able to borrow a vessel - although there are 6 or 7 around, only a couple of them work well. Went up Ogotornk Creek about 5 miles, then left up a creek coming in from the north over the tundra on an old wrecked trail.
