July 13. Morning cool, dark wridy & foggy, with occasional blasts of misty rain. However, overcast is finally in discrete cloids & not continuous, with sun visible in thinner spots. Out at 9:00, went west from "west ridge" behind camp on ridges parallel to it - and some at right angles. Found several good areas of stabilized frost boils, both wet & dry, with Didymocodon purpus, Tremets. don brevifolia, Plagiobryum Zierii, etc. Continued west to Storm Creek & got Bego- brittonia and Dicksoniun in nicer flats - but did not find Aloina, usually common in such places.
