one has excellent views of Delong Mountains from this ridge - wind strong, cold on top - would be snow at higher altitudes. Back to camp after 6:00, cold & damp, but with blood circulating again after long day's work on specimens. Pick[ed] up a few things not yet in hand as primary collections, but only as ad- mittances, as 2 spp. ? Rhaconitrium & some weedy things. Tomorrow, weather or not, will go out on lower ridges west of king's west mountain behind camp, in hope of finding some of the Driftwood species. Cold night!
