(16) I started at 7 A.M. with
the 2 hunters & their 6 dogs
to hunt goral on the forested
cliffs above camp. In one
of the high meadows at about
13,000 feet we found a small
viper in th[e] a grany meadow
which was quite cold altho'
it was cold. We also captured
2 small snakes in the grass
at the same high elevation.
At 10 A.M. the dogs stayed
a goral on the cliffs below
so the village hunter turned
the red hound loose which he
had been holding for several
draining as the other dogs were
worthless. In a short time
after the red dog was loosed
the same large goral
ascending by short jumps
the cliffs toward us. We came
on without stopping apparently
