He reports good collecting on Idenburg during the high water. It was particularly successful in the marshy region. He states that he has prepared 3 Phaeozels and a Melops. Early evening was not hot shooting. Many bat flying, apparently 2 sp., but was unable to hit them. Late evening at jacking. Saw or grey rat but it escaped in cover of forest undergrowth.
