Journal I have written to you all about my birthday party, but I did not invite any friends. My mother and father were very sad when they heard that I was going to be 12. They said it would be a great day for me to celebrate with all of my friends. But I didn't want to go because I had too many things on my mind. I decided to stay home instead. My parents understood why I wanted to do this, so they let me have whatever I needed. I spent most of the day watching TV and playing video games. It was nice not having to deal with anyone else around me. When dinner time came, my mom made some pizza which we ate together. After eating, she asked if there was anything else I wanted to do before bed. I told her that no, just sleeping sounded good enough for tonight.
