"Heavy", though late most X. Outward section 1/2 C. Since the 8th, found j's clearly. The occupant of a new territory, who has been calling repeatedly from postures peculiarly at odds with his, or calling from the ground as if forages casually. A calls strongly when detecting an intruder. One such seen to leave from the top of the fall sidewalk soon after calling began, and to fly non-stop to south. Sept 13. - Two j's present, both calling! Sept 4. - Male consistently present. And today a second, clearly smaller bird, is also present, moving slowly and not close to the male or in felders along Hillgate, next four turns. A is on ground foraging and calling intermittently, in series, while I is about 20 feet from him, on the eastern 10 minutes (I called away overall and gave both guys' notes 3 times per request). No response from A, who continued calling. Later that day (~6 p.m.), two guys present in back yard. A calling, I "tagging along" at some distance, give guy's note one. Sept 5-6. Two guys seen on 5th, but no association developing, no interaction seen. A seems to move about independently. On the 6th Awards bird not been.
