Apelocoma 1982 Sept. 19 - Helgard Cay Since 6th, the & guy has been alone. It has quieted down, and calls only alarm and only occasionally does a brief spurt of announced calling. It is consistently present, and quickly showed up on the front deck when I left out exposed peanuts. Two after a second attempt trying to trap a squid (this time the guy didn't get trapped, even though during the past week) it came down to the traps repeatedly and just looked at the peanuts. 1983 7 July Jay calling, settling on trophy and area. A female gave a yungle, but the two were not seen associating. 27 July Four flock of & guys moves south (into working Canopy) over trees at upper end of Varginal Ave, while one guy to north on La Vereda calls in alarm; then neighbor to south does same, then quiet. 8 Aug. Territorial squabbling intermittent since early July in our neighborhood. & in backyard area not wated. Pair to south of Helgard interacting with him, & gives yungle call.
