March 14, 1971 Philosophical Studies The Carpenter's wife. Ruth came to the school house as a child on Sunday by Carphameria. and in her hand she held a knife. But it is not clear what she did with it. She had long hair which was tied into a bun over her head. Her face was pale and thin. She wore dark clothes and looked sad. Her eyes were deep set and her nose was small. Her mouth was always closed tight.
