May 30 Of the 2 ♀ Bushy-tails I brought back to Berkeley from Sagelau, one (#94) gave birth to a litter of 3 (on April 30). Those 3 animals were ear-tagged and toe clipped (20e acorn) today. I also was able to collect a lot of blood from the toe clip and spin it down for electrophoresis. The animal were at first anaesthetized with Meta flane of course. At first I tried to take blood from the eye sinus, and the tail vein but didn't have much success.
