Feb.9 6:30-8:00 am Rhoda and I lifted all the traps and returned to Riverside Hotte Rimrock Reserve, Riverside Co., California Mon. Mar.5 10:00-4pm Set 100 traps on Rhoda's grid for SKRs. We replaced Rhoda's flags with by 5pm numbered stakes over the past few weeks and this is the first attempt to actually get demographic data for the project. We decided to close the traps at 10 pm when the temp. dropped to 2°C. We nevertheless captured 6 SKRs: 4 new and 2 tagged by Rhoda. Tues. Mar.6 Reset 100 traps between 4 and 5 p.m. and decided to close them again by midnight since the temp dropped to 4°C. We captured 10 SKRs: 4 recaps from last night and 6 others ( 3 new + 3 tagged by Rhoda). Wed. Mar.7 Lifted all 100 traps. Granite Mtns Reserve, San Bernardino Co., California Tues. Mar.8 2pm Elise Smith picked me up in Riverside and we drove to the Granitos. We set ~200 traps on her Nestoma Cepida site near the Bunny Club, in the dark. Conditions were very mild so we
