Apr. 16 has been in the trap for a few days, so I
(cont.) decided to only make a comp. skeleton
(Cat # 184).
1715 p.s.t. Started setting traps from H.1 to 32
and H. 76 to 98.
2100 p.s.t
Made a study skin and took tissues from
the last jow woodrat captured in the Red
House attic (Cat # 185).
2214 p.s.t Started checking traps. Still
uraining continuously, so used the
minicassette recorder instead of the clipboard.

Apr. 17 8:31 p.s.t Found a lot of fresh pig tracks
on Martin Rd.
just north of the turn off for the Roberta
Place. I also found a lot of large fresh
lion tracks interspersed among the
pig tracks. Not very deep, but measure
over 90mm wide and over 80mm in
length. The plantar pad on the best
track I could find was 60mm wide
and about 50 mm in length. Along with
the many deer and lion tracks along
Martin Rd., there were also dog, deer and
lobeat tracks as well.
9:30 p.s.t. I released #1730 in the lower
Barn (Capt. in Griffins). Collected 88
