Mar. 29 547 pst: H.132 caft. a♀ but forgot to (not) read her tags. Still groggy after only 4 hours sleep. Will retrap soon.
657 pst: H.120 caft. "Darynus" (♂)1531-33, 298 g) the "spotted rat". Seems a bit shook up. His r. tag is loose (slip in ear, bite); bare patch around front of left ear - scab at base of ear; also has an open wound high on l. flank - like an old warlike wound, albeit festered.
740 pst: Picked up a collection of about 811 Bobcat scat between H.107 + H.108. Also noticed extensive bark-peeling in willow over H.107. Must trap soon. Reactivated.
827 pst: At lab ♀1519-20 suckling all 3 youngsters. Didn't give her any more food.
900 p.s.t.: Back to the Red Hrs for a big breakfast. After breakfast I got some tools together (machete, small rake fork, brush slash hook), measuring tapes, plastic bags and flagging tape. Headed up the Arnold (brought a packed lunch) to open up some rat houses to identify and quantify food stores. I intended concentrating on houses that were close to the road.
