(cont.). Caught my Spotty ? ("Dasyurus", # 1531-32) at ?
H.702, moved from 119A? Finished by 0030 PST.
Sat.
Feb. 20 0040 PST. Felt an earthquake just before going
to bed. I was washing my teeth and it sounded
I felt as if there was a raccoon, a giant tail-
rattling woodrat on the roof of the bathroom.
at 0700 PST
Heard on KVSP (N.P.R. Santa Cruz 88.9 F.M.) that it
was centered near Hollister and measured 5.1.
Nancy slept through it.
0700 PST. Caught ? 1610-11 again in Spider Tree. Paired
him up with ? 2269 and j?gged ? 1460. Neither of
the encounters were as amicable as the 3 ? : ?
diads last night, and ? 2269 seemed a little
ever
aggressive at times.
0745-0844: Caught 4 new rats, recaptured a ?
from last trip ? (1595)-96 , and recaptured last.
? 1229-30 (last caught at H.130 in late May, 1987).
Her daughter ? 1384 is still at H.130 and it is not
too far away (say 100 m.).
0900-0930: Caught 2 new rats, and recaptured
3 old ones at Y(8,11,15,16 +17). The most striking
captures were ? 1131-(1127) - 282g at Y 16- and
?(1625)-1132 - 208g at Y 11. Both of those were last
captured as Holter (? 1131) and Juvenile in the same
trah at Y 16 on May 4, 1986 (over 21 months ago).
