Sat. the technique . We also captured D>1336-37 at H2 79
Nov. 14 but we didn't dust him. We then closed the other
(cont.) open traps (2 at H.85) in D>1289's presumptive
home range. Returned to the School House for a
great Basque dinner cooked by Carol Patton
and Suzie Peyton. Then Jim Patton gave his
usual dramatic Peru slide show. It was a
great hit and even though it was my fourth
viewing (also Fall '83, '85 &'86), it was as
refreshing and entertaining as ever.
2230 PST. took 11 students to D>1289's part of
the long Field. We followed his movements
first with Radiotelemetry and then with
fluorescence-tracking. He moved throughout
the area. The pigment trail was impressive
but *** some of the students were noisy
and rather immature. They fussed me off!
I got them to set traps throughout the area
to capture D>1289's potential contacts.
