Got up at 0600 PST. however, and (cont.) did a clockwise circuit around School Hill (i.e. to Robertson Place -> Martin Rd -> The Lane -> Red Haze) in search of a ? Sus carcass for the class (as pero. tract example) and for dinner. Didn't see any pigs, however, Nancy Popkin told me she found a large dead boar in Corral Viejo and she gave me directions to find it: (NOT TO SCALE) N X X X X X Fence Pond Corral Viejo Gate (Green, Iron, Large) Big Deer Wooden Dead Through Dip Carmel Valley Road Live Oak Live Oak Willow Willow BOAR Bridge (Salvioni) Thanks to Nancy's accurate map, Marco & I found the boar with ease at about 09:30 PST. He is a large Tusker, but his whole head & neck region is literally a seething mass of maggots. He smelt a bit but I've smell worse. I could not see any obvious wounds on the exposed left side of the chest and
