P.A. Kelly 1987 Journal 16 (cont) across my most extensive dispersal event yet: -> 11/2/93 recaptured Hard. 28, 1987 at house 101A, born at H1 and last captured there on July 8, 1986. He has covered about 2000 ft but more to the point, how come I have not captured him in the intervening 8 1/2 months? 17 left 10 traps open all night at the Spider Tree and 2 at H136 as well. But had no more rats in the morning. I was trying to catch a visiting (?) tagged woodrat in the Spider Tree. I also captured a 62g jew F (1384/85) with her mom (1229/30) at H 130 last night. Must continue trapping for any sibs. Counted all my traps and marked their locations: MVZ Tomahawks - 59 rigid & 63 collapsible (incl 13 from JLP on Mon. lost); Psych. Tomahawks - 16 Rigid & 61 Collapsible (inc 27 from the FSBK. J.P. Glickman on Mon.). Total of 199 altogether, it would be 200 only for 5 lost that one: traps (Psych. Collapsible Tomahawk) or Sun. All the Psych. traps are painted bright green on the treadle and/or ID plates (did this did it all 27 this a.m.). I also marked the 13 from JLP with white paint. The previous 50 MVZ collapsible Tomahawks comprise 25 from Bob Jones and 25 I bought in 1984. Mark Stanback climbed the Spider Tree
