P.A.Kelly 1987 Journal Hastings Nat. Hist. Res., Carmel Valley, CA. Apr 15 Arrived 2pm. Decided to trap and trap GP's only in the hope of picking up some immed. prior to parturition. Trapped 29 houses (58 COB-limited traps) between the Y and the 1st Crossing. Waning moon rose around 10pm so expected to catch a lot of animals in that 2hr window of darkness. Caught 15 GP and 4 O'D with only one case of a double capture at the same house (#118). Got to bed around 1.30am (0030pst). Apr 16 Slept in until 0900 pst. I forgot to mention yesterday but I brought down 40 more collapsible Tomahawks from Berkely, 27 from the F.S.B.R. belonging to Steve Glickman (he OKayed it) and 13 more from SLP. This is in addition to the stack of traps I already have from the MVZ and Glickman. I must recount them soon. Spent the day updating my Capture Location Chart for Long Yell Woodrats. I also renewed my efforts to recapture GP I missed last night. I also want to keep tabs on heavily pregnant females from last night. While updating my Capture Chart I came
