P.A. Kelley 1986 Journal Sept. 12 The Mammal Class (ZOO 163) from Berk- out.) eleg arrived in the afternoon. Patton and didicher led the class with David Ribble and Claudia Luke as TAs. Unfortunately, Claudia's van got wrecked in a collision while turning off Hwy 89 onto the Sazchen Creek Rd.. luckily nobody was hurt despite the fact that both vehicles were totalled. I helped Ribble's group setting Mts Specials and Macalopes in the evening. We also set (Tomalhawks) 8 traps at Mile 4.7. Didicher's group also set 5 more at the Rockslide. The only rats caught on the 11pm trap-check was: F 1271 at the Rockslide. Sept. 13 After breakfast all traps were checked and lifted : F 2227 at the Rockslide (5 Traps). new D> 1276 " Mile 4.7 (8 Traps). In the afternoon everybody headed for Chilcot. 1.6 Mi N.E. Chilcot, Plumas Co., California (5200ft) There was a superabundance of fresh woodrat urine in the Lge Boulders at the neck of the Canyon. I marked an ad F (1102-1101) and 3 jws here on April 30 last.
