Journal.
June 30 (cont) 2119 PST Searched the U. Spring for fluor-
escent trails with the black lamp. Fresh
urine marks are also fluorescing a
greenish color. Found orange pig from σ 2179 on the W. end of the rockpile. Found
more of 2179's pig toward the middle of
the rockpile - smeared on the angular
tip of a rock. Looks like deliberate
marking (w. Ventral gland) as in previous
case. Found a succession of 2179's marks
and all were along the most dorsal edge
provided by the rocks in each case. Found
2179's den I think big 'hole' in rocks
behind one of the big, central Arches on
the upper E. side of the rockpile. Rocks
in front of the den are completely smeared
with orange pig. Also lots of fresh
urine. Found more of his pig through-
out the W. side of the U.Spring, again
mainly on dorsal-most edges.
2148 Pig from ♀ 2186 (Red) and ♀ 2177 (Green)
was confined to areas of capture and release.
2149 PST at the h. Spring found green pig
from ♀ 2187 along the N. side of h. Spring
especially at capture and release points.
I also however found a little orange pig
from σ 2179 in 3-4 places adjacent to ♀ 2187
trail.
