P.A.Kelly 1986 Journal June 28 Sagehen Creek Field Station, Nevada Co., California Left MVZ at 1pm arrived Sagehen at 4 pm. Started setting traps at 5 pm. Set 30 in all, baited with 6 oz cans 1/4 filled with cob. Also put a wad of dacron or cotton in all traps. Had dinner with Ellen Woodard's beaver crew. There are a lot of people at the Station right now: an Entomology Class of 6 from UC Davis with TA + Prof [illegible]. Jay Rosenheim also is here with 2 assistants working on parasitic wasps. Also 4-6 others visiting looking for part- icular plants. Started checking traps around 9.30pm (2030 PST). Time (PST), location Bat# 2042 U.Spring Φ 2055 L.Spring ♀ 2187 + tag# 1218 in l. ear. (310 g H.id.Toe r. hind foot gone. (loc., Mdh+ve, Perf., Symp. Noted) Smear @ 2105 PST: Leucocytes+few Coriif.Cells Rusted w. Green Pig. 2145 X89 Untagged Subad. ♀ -> lab 2204 Rockslide " " " -> " 2231 U.Spring → 2179 -> lab. 2244 " ♀ 2186 290g, lact, +Red Pig & released.
