Set 30 in all, baited with 6 oz cans 1/4 filled with cob. Also put a wad of dacron or cotton in all traps. Had dinner with Ellen Woodard's beaver crew. There are a lot of people at the Station right now: an Entomology Class of 6 from UC Davis with TA + Prof [illegible]. Jay Rosenheim also is here with 2 assistants working on parasitic wasps. Also 4-6 others visiting looking for part- icular plants. Started checking traps around 9.30pm (2030 PST). Time (PST), location Bat# 2042 U.Spring Φ 2055 L.Spring ♀ 2187 + tag# 1218 in l. ear.
