P.A.Kelly 1985 Journal Took blood from 2186 & 2187 in the morning. In the afternoon helped out with station chores. Around 6pm drove to Carpenter Ridge with Pamela Stewart & John Slaymaker to check out rockfills. Some impressive ones up there, didn't see any fresh sign, but didn't have time to check it out properly because of a looming thunderstorm overhead. After dinner reset 9 traps at the U.Springs. June 19 Got up 6am to check the traps. U. Springs: (9 traps) # 2185, # 2177 & another subadult # 2188 toe 32 115g Just got the blood sample spun down as the electricity was cut off again. In the morning since I had little else to do just then, volunteered to look for the Goshawk nest with Veronica. We hiked along the north ridge by the Creek near the leafold Cabin, we then worked our way back along the top of the ridge. Somehow or other we lost each other. I was a little worried in case she had taken a fall. I went back to the Station at 11.30am and at 12.30, Ellen Woodard & I took Ellen's 2 field assistants (Norma & Sal) with the 2 radios and searched for Veronica
