Took blood from 2186 & 2187 in the morning.
In the afternoon helped out with station chores. Around 6pm drove to Carpenter Ridge
with Pamela Stewart & John Slaymaker to check out rockfills. Some impressive ones
up there, didn't see any fresh sign, but
didn't have time to check it out properly because of a looming thunderstorm
overhead. After dinner reset 9 traps at
the U.Springs.
June 19 Got up 6am to check the traps.

Just got the blood sample spun down as
the electricity was cut off again. In the
morning since I had little else to do just

nest with Veronica. We hiked
along the north ridge by the Creek near
the leafold Cabin, we then worked our way
back along the top of the ridge. Somehow or other we lost each other. I was a little
worried in case she had taken a fall. I went back to the Station at 11.30am and
at 12.30, Ellen Woodard & I took Ellen's
2 field assistants (Norma & Sal)
with the 2 radios and searched for Veronica
