P.A. Kelly 1985 Journal June 16 Got up at 5 am; checked and lifted all traps. Didn't catch anything. Took some photos from the "Eagles" Hill and broke camp 8 am. Called into the Ranger Station to tell them how I got on before heading north to Sageron. Sageron Creek Field Station, Nevada Co., California Arrived around 3 pm after a hot & tiring drive up Hwy 395 to Reno and then I-80 to Truckee & Sageron. Checked in with Mike & Mary. At 6 pm set 13 traps at U. Spring and 5 at L. Spring. June 17 Got up at 6 am & checked all traps: Upper Spring - → # 2176 - Battered L eye damaged L ear lacerated ♀ # 2177 lactating 2 subadults (prob. # 2177's offspring) # 2185 toe 25 110g →? (released) ♀ (debilitated?) # 2186 30 90g ♀? Lower Spring - ♀ # 2174 lactating Spent some time with Mike in the morning doing a transect of his Wyettia plots.
